With the first weeks of 2021 behind us, we wanted to reflect on what has been a momentous year. We were privileged to work alongside many great clients, partners and stakeholders, and look forward to even more collaboration in the future.
Despite the many challenges of 2020, the fintech industry made a significant contribution in difficult times. Contis also launched more products, partnerships and feature upgrades than any year in our history, and is extremely proud of enabling clients to deliver innovation in a time of need.
With the support of our partners, we helped clients Brexit-proof their propositions and meet the changing market needs due to Covid-19. We maintained system availability while continuing to invest in our future with a data centre migration, joining Mastercard, enhancing international payments and many updates beyond.
2020 was a period of growth where Contis added valuable members to the team and senior leadership. We’re excited for this to continue through 2021! The year kicked off with a wave of hires, including Andrea Ramoino as Chief Strategy Officer, who brings 15 years’ experience in Fintech entrepreneurship. We’re also delighted to take part in the government’s Kickstart scheme, helping young people launch their career in fintech.
Looking forward, we’re confident this year will bring many important company announcements including enhanced open banking capabilities, quicker money transfer across Europe and more international currency accounts.
With the support and collaboration of our many stakeholders, we’re excited to keep pushing at the forefront of this industry. Our aim is always to unlock value for our clients and unleash the power of digital payments for their customers.
